Ordinary floss is a fixed-width string. Smart Floss® stretches and expands once it is between your teeth, filling the interdental space instead of slicing through it — which is why it removes more plaque and why it stops shredding your gums and your fingertips on the way.
Clinically proven to outperform regular floss.
Smart Floss has been shown to remove up to 40% more plaque than some of the most popular flosses — regular waxed and unwaxed floss, and PTFE monofilament floss of the kind sold as Glide. Electric and manual flossers that claim parity with regular floss are no match for it either.
Because it can stretch, it reaches deeper into interdental spaces and cleans around the curve of the tooth rather than just down the flat of it.
