The Holy Bible In Its Original Order — Complete Audio Edition on CD Narrated by Fred R. Coulter
The Holy Bible In Its Original Order — A Faithful Version.
“The Holy Bible In Its Original Order is an extraordinary Bible that is the only complete Bible ever published that follows the original inspired manuscript order of all the books of the Old and New Testaments.”
“This version is a new translation — A Faithful Version — that reflects the true meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek with fidelity and accuracy.”
Publisher's description — A Faithful VersionForty-nine books, seven divisions.
“With the original order of the 49 biblical books restored, the Seven Divisions of the Bible are re-established: The Old Testament contains 1) The Law, 2) The Prophets, and 3) The Writings. The New Testament contains 4) The Gospels and Acts, 5) The General Epistles, 6) The Epistles of Paul, and 7) The Book of Revelation.”
Publisher's descriptionMost Bibles present the books in an order that accumulated through centuries of translation and printing convention. Restoring the manuscript order changes how the whole reads, because a collection's sequence is part of its argument.
Read aloud by the man who translated it.
Fred R. Coulter narrates his own translation — a rarer thing than it sounds. The reader knows precisely which word he chose and why, and it shows in the delivery.
For the Old Testament, Coulter worked with biblical Hebrew consultant Michael Heiss to produce a translation from the Hebrew Masoretic text. The print edition carries over 250 pages of commentaries and appendices; a second, expanded edition followed in 2009 with a new appendix, “Understanding Paul's Difficult Scriptures.”
